Went to Big O Tires at Power and Baseline in Mesa....just wanted an oil change and our tires rotated on our second car. I explained to the "mechanic"/salesman that we don't drive this car very often but were planning a short trip with it next week.

He went out to check the car and told us our tires in the front were dry rotting. We reluctantly agreed to purchase a new set of tires. Soon after leaving the store we received a phone call from them saying with their inspection they noted the front left CV Axel shaft was leaking which could lead to brake failure. They also said we needed a new battery and the rear shock absorbers replaced.

This would bring our bill to over $1000. We agreed to the repair of the front axel but said we would deal with the other issues at a later date. Then we get a call saying that after repairing the axel and adding the new tires we needed an alignment and that it would cost $80 but they would only charge $50. They knew I was quite unhappy with the whole ordeal.

They said they would cut something off the $50. Again with much reluctance I agreed to the alignment. My husband just picked up our car and looking at the bill I see they actually charged $60 for the alignment. I called them immediately and they said "Ooops our bad" "Stop by and I will give you the $10.

This whole experience has been awful.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.
